Personality:

Eleanora rarely isn't smiling, and always seems to have an innocent cheerfulness to her regardless of the situation. However, there's also always more to her than initially appears. She has a habit of speaking in riddles and metaphors, only ever making herself clear to certain people. She's an extremely good liar, and it's often difficult to tell if she really means something or what her intentions are. She's generally very gentle and kind, but when she or her loved ones feel threatened, she won't hesitate to resort to violent or extreme measures.

Biography

Eleanora never knew her father - her mother was a single woman who was heavily involved in nature and human rights activism. This unfortunately got her in trouble with the wrong people, until she found herself running through the local forests in fear for her life. In a panic, she hid baby Eleanora in a wooded patch intending to come back for her when she had lost her pursuers, but several minutes later was killed.

However, all was not lost for Eleanora. The local fae recognized the abandoned baby as what they called a "child of the forest" - someone whose lineage had been kind and loyal to nature. As such, they took pity on her and chose to raise her as one of their own.

Eleanora grew up in and out of the fae realm and the forest she was found in, with a large network of fae family that raised and educated her. They were all very supportive and caring - they had no qualms when she expressed that she felt she was a girl as a child, and fiercely protected her from harm. However, they also sheltered her heavily from normal society on their moon, and taught her many unnatural practices - how to lie without detection, how to steal a name, and how to enact violence against anyone who disrespected nature.

Clothed in plants and butterfly wings, Eleanora is the beloved perfect child of her fae family. However, to regular people she appears a mysterious forest wanderer, who speaks in riddles and seems to lead people astray. And be careful - she is willing to do anything to protect her forest and her people, and may already be hiding a few bodies.
